PRESS RELEASE

PRESS RELEASE

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2009 -- Six years in the making and based on a U.S. patent, http://www.loveandencourage.com/ gives parents and teachers a way to use their own videos, photos, and graphics to motivate their children using "Daisies" that are like sticker charts on steroids. There are five forums included on the web site for parents, teachers, foster parents, and researchers to share ideas and Daisies. There are also numerous printing functions that allow you to print records. While your child is viewing the Daisies and becoming motivated to learn new behaviors, you can print out a sticker chart with customizable stickers.

The web site is completely safe for children and is built to specific legal guidelines that keep children's identities protected and secure. loveandencourage.com can help you deliver the rewards mentioned by American Adcademy of Pediatrics

"Parent training in behavior therapy and classroom behavior interventions have successfully changed the behavior of children with ADHD. .. Behavior therapy then involves providing rewards for demonstrating the desired behavior (eg, positive reinforcement)"

AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS (September 9, 2006) Subcommittee on Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Committee on Quality Improvement Clinical Practice Guideline: Treatment of the School-Aged Child With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

There is so much evidence that a system like loveandencourage.com works.

CHADD states that behavior modificiation (that is found in loveandencourage.com) is evidence based.

CHADD that is such a great organization that helps parents and teachers understand and learn about ADHD had the below to say about the behavior modification techniques that are found in loveandencourage.com.

"Behavior modification is the only nonmedical treatment for AD/HD with a large scientific evidence base."

Psychosocial Treatment for Children and Adolescents with AD/HD National Resource Center on ADHD, A program of CHADD

Evidence-Based Psychosocial Treatments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder -

"Thus, clinicians, organizations, and agencies can be confident in recommending BI, (behavioral interventions)as an intervention for ADHD that will have a substantial impact on children's functioning. In contrast, we found no evidence for office-based psychotherapies conducted solely with the child (as recommended in the AAP guidelines) or for cognitive or other child-directed therapies. Behavioral interventions are the only evidence-based psychosocial intervention for ADHD."

Evidence-Based Psychosocial Treatments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, William E. Pelham, Jr. and Gregory A. Fabiano State University of New York at Buffalo,Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology, 37(1), 184–214, 2008
